Fucking Charles. As annoying as he is, I can’t help but like him.
Just a little.
I never thought I’d see the day I’d shed tears over frat bros but alas, here we are. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to these crazy characters and the epilogue had me all up in my feels. I love how the epilogues from the three books go together as a complete scene, it was the perfect way to wrap everything up.
Back to this story, though – as you read the series Zeke and Charles were giving off major vibes. It was never confirmed, but it certainly felt like something was up between them and I loved discovering exactly what they had been up to and seeing things blossom into more. For obvious reasons, in public and around their brothers, they had to maintain the illusions of rival presidents but behind closed doors, they were so soft for one another. Charles was adorable with his nervous rambling and Zeke was positively smitten. They were so sweet together.
Like that, I’m hit with this overwhelming truth that I’ll never meet anyone as perfect for me as Charles. I drop to my knees, holding his thighs, staring up at him like I can’t believe he’s in front of me. “You fucking own me, Charlie.”
There was a bit of a mystery to solve in this one and I loved seeing all my favorites from the whole series coming together to figure out who was trying to sabotage the Sigma house. The Sigma and Kappa rivalry had come a long way since the first book, they’ll never not be rivals but seeing them come together toward a common goal was heartwarming. As things escalated, these frat bros were tugging at my heartstrings again.
I had a lot of fun with this series and I’m sad to say goodbye. Maybe one day there’ll be a new generation of frat bros for us to fall in love with!
“There’s something here. I can’t even say how I know. I just feel it. It’s like … a click.”
“A click?”
“Yeah. That universal sound when two things fit together, exactly right.”
