This and Every Life by Emmy Sanders

“I will love you no matter where. No matter when.”

I won’t say too much about this book because I don’t want to spoil it, but at its heart, it’s a story about a love that’s written in the stars. Two souls who were meant to find and love each other in every lifetime. It was a lovely concept, I loved that no matter where, no matter when, these two souls were meant to find each other and have a beautiful life together.

The story is told in 4 parts, and I just wish that they had felt more interconnected than they did when I read it. I loved part 1, and I thought part 4 did a nice job of pulling the threads together, but the other two parts were very subtle in making the connection. It almost read as 4 separate short stories, and it was a little disorienting at the start of each part as I figured out where, when, and which character was which.

But overall, it was still a lovely book, and I enjoyed the overarching theme of soulmates.
