Until You is such a great book – the banter, the twists, the epic love story between Blake and Jude – it has it all… except for Blake’s POV. So it was very exciting when Briar announced she was writing this companion novel which is a retelling of Until You from Blake’s POV! Given the revelations in the original book, it made total sense to not have his POV. But, like many other people, I’m sure, I was very curious about what was going through Blake’s head as he met and fell for Jude. Luckily, we don’t have to wonder anymore! 

It’s not often that you’re doing something unforgivable and are aware all the while that you’re in the middle of doing it.

First of all, I loved reliving all my favorite scenes through a new lens. I was reminded of the hilarious banter between these guys that made me fall in love with Briar Prescott’s writing. It was also really interesting seeing inside Blake’s brain as he kept digging himself deeper and deeper. He knew he was in the wrong but he was so enamored with Jude that he simply could not stop himself. All the swoony parts still made me swoon and all the heartbreaking parts still hurt. And I ended up loving Blake and Jude even more by the time I finished.

I’m honestly not sure how you can get your hands on this if you missed the initial send but if you’ve read Until You, I hope you can find it somewhere because it’s a great companion to the original novel!
