Dead Vengeance by W.H. Lockwood

I thought this was a fun mix of romance and a creepy ghost story. Liam and Archer were just adorable together. They were both so sweet and so lonely when we first met them. I enjoyed seeing them fall for each other, and it was cool how fate played into it. These two were truly meant to be, and it only took a really terrifying haunting for them to find one another.

Liam never expected the first job he was called to as the newest ExorSquad employee to have such a personal connection. It was fun, and sometimes a little creepy, seeing that play out. I guessed some things along the way, but a few others didn’t play out exactly how I expected. The surprises were fun, though! I loved how it all came together, and the ending and epilogue were very heartwarming.

I also enjoyed seeing a little more of the inner workings of ExorSquad. The first book didn’t get into too much of that. Gerald is still an enigma. He’s super dodgy but also kind of sweet? He’s an interesting one for sure. And the long-suffering Ted was amusing too.

I look forward to reading more of the series!
